Institute of Industrial Design
At the beginning of its activity, in the 1950s, the Institute of Industrial Design was the main centre gathering textile designers in Poland. It was there that patterns of utility and decorative fabrics were drawn up. In the following years, designs of furniture, ceramics, glass, footwear, accessories and clothing were designed and manufactured at the Institute. Today, the collection of the Institute includes over 500 designs. The Institute is returning to designs from 50 years ago and plans to implement them in modern utility projects.
