Chemar is a manufacturer of steel castings with its own research laboratory and pattern shop. Steel and iron castings for the production of industrial fittings and pipeline elements are produced in induction furnaces or arc furnaces, and the temperature of liquid cast steel can reach up to 1 600° C.

In Chemar, the heat treatment of castings is carried out in gas and electric furnaces. The temperature in the gas furnace reaches 1,100°C . During the heat treatment process, the steel obtains the right internal structure and the strength properties are improved, allowing the castings to work reliably in difficult conditions. The heat treatment process itself, depending on the type, can last from a few to several hours.
