The castle in Baranów Sandomierski

The castle in Baranów Sandomierski

The castle in Baranów Sandomierski, also called Little Wawel, was built in the 16th century. It was the residence of magnate families and served as a defensive knight's court.

Today, everyone who wants to admire and visit the chambers, museum or beautiful orangery can spend time in the castle.

Thanks to concerts of early music, demonstrations of hussar cavalry, the pride of Polish weaponry, and fencing shows, we can feel the spirit of years gone by.

In the 14-hectare park, you can admire gardens decorated in various styles: English, French or Italian. In the castle park, 23 species of birds can be observed, and every day unique bird concerts can be heard.

IDA JSC takes care of their maintenance and appropriate management, as well as of preserving Poland's cultural heritage and promoting its history and traditions. With the intention of achieving these goals, IDA JSC became the founder of the PRO ARTE HISTORIA Foundation established in 2014 and based in Krasiczyn.

The castles function as hotels - you are cordially invited!
