12 October this year. Creotech Instruments S.A., in which 17.10 percent of shares are held by Industrial Development Agency JSC made its debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange New Connect.
Creotech Instruments is the first Polish company from the space sector to enter the New Connect market run by the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
-The Industrial Development Agency supports the transfer of the most innovative technologies to Polish companies. We are an advocate and we try to be supportive of activities concerning the space sector in Poland. Several years ago we decided to grant loans and make capital investments for the Polish space sector. Such support was provided, among others, to Creotech Instruments - currently the largest "space" company on the market. We would like the stock exchange debut of the company in which we are a shareholder to be a strong impulse for the development of the whole space sector in Poland – says Cezariusz Lesisz, the President of IDA JSC
Creotech is a company that has been contributing to the development of the space industry in Poland for years. The production of satellite equipment components is only a part of its activity. The company also manufactures various types of electronics intended, among others, for control systems of quantum computers. The company also develops software and equipment used in the surveillance of drone traffic.
The company, whose shareholder is Industrial Development Agency JSC over the years has taken part in several dozen projects developing the space sector. This has included ten space missions, including four carried out for the European Space Agency. Currently, one of Creotech's leading initiatives is the production of microsatellites and microsatellite constellations. The HyperSat satellite platform created by the company is designed to carry out space missions by satellites of varying masses.
Thanks to all these achievements and many years of work on innovation development, on 12 October Creotech Instruments debuted on the NewConnect market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
– When in 2008, together with the other founders we brought Creotech Instruments to life, we marked one of the milestones on our development map, which was the company's IPO. Today I am very pleased, because only moments separate us from this important event. Creotech will be the first representative of the space industry on our domestic trading floor. We would like the NewConnect market to be the beginning of our way on the stock exchange market. We are aware that the status of a public company will allow us to open many new opportunities. In the near future, we intend to consistently build the value of our company, implementing the development strategy and taking care of reliable communication with investors – said dr hab. Grzegorz Brona, President of the Board of Creotech Instruments S.A.
Creotech Instruments' stock exchange debut was preceded by a successful public issue of H series shares, from which the company raised over 11 million PLN in April this year. The funds were allocated for the expansion of production lines for electronics assembly in order to increase the scale of operations. As part of the company's full IPO, over one and a half million shares will be introduced to trading.
