10 people with a chance to conquer the Polish space sector

The VI edition of the internship contest "Development of human resources for the space sector" organised by Industrial Development gency JSC and Space Sector Employers' Union has been settled.
On 29 June during the "Space Sector Forum" a list of ten winners was announced, who will begin six-month apprenticeships at companies operating in the Polish space sector.
The VI edition of the internship contest "Development of human resources for the space sector" organised by Industrial Development Agency JSC and Space Sector Employers' Union has been settled. On 29 June during the "Space Sector Forum" a list of ten winners was announced, who will begin six-month apprenticeships at companies operating in the Polish space sector.
The internship programme "Development of human resources for the space sector", carried out in cooperation with the Space Sector Employers' Union, is the first programme of this kind organised in Poland (one of three in Europe). The programme is addressed to graduates of the first, second or third degree universities, who are under 35 years of age. The aim of the Competition is to select graduates and young scientists from the space sector for paid internships in scientific institutes, research units and enterprises operating in the space sector, which are members of Space Sector Employers Union.
The 6th edition of the "Development of Human Resources for the Space Sector" competition attracted 83 candidates. From among them, companies from the Polish space sector selected ten trainees. IDA JSC co-finances internships in the amount of 50% of an intern's remuneration in a company from the SME sector and 20% in the case of large companies. The internship lasts 6 months and starts at the beginning of July. The interns can count on the remuneration of PLN 4000 or 5000 gross, depending on their education.
