Industrial Development Agency Supports Ukraine
Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu S.A. (the Industrial Development Agency JSC) has been supporting those affected by the military action. ARP S.A. Group companies and the ARP Foundation, which has provided humanitarian aid, have also participated in the relief efforts.
The aid ranged from providing basic food and hygiene items to transporting refugees.
Companies operating in special economic zones also lent their support. Thus, in three days - from 28 February to 2 March - a total of PLN 2 175 000 was collected in donations from companies operating in SEZ.
ARP S.A. not only helped materially. A first point of contact was organised for Ukrainian entrepreneurs considering moving their business to Poland. Information on assistance initiatives in our country involving ARP and ARP Group companies was included in a report prepared by UN Global Compact Network Poland.
It was presented at the UN General Assembly on 21 September 2022.
