ARP Construction: Construction of a modern precast plant in Suchedniów begins. The first elements will roll off the production lines as early as 2023!

Date of posting: 2022-11-21

In Suchedniów, construction has begun on a modern factory that will produce prefabricated reinforced concrete elements. The plant will supply elements for large buildings, including production halls and warehouses, retail and office buildings, and flat buildings. Commissioning is planned for the fourth quarter of 2023. Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu S.A. (the Industrial Development Agency JSC), ARP Construction and ARP Operator are responsible for the implementation of this investment.

The factory will be built in Suchedniów on ul. Sportowa on the site of the former "Marywil" earthenware factory. In 2019, the Industrial Development Agency JSC purchased the site from an official receiver. This 11-hectare developed area is one of the most attractive investment locations in the Świętokrzyskie voivodeship. It required appropriate preparation, including the demolition of abandoned buildings. A great advantage of this location is its proximity to road and railroad infrastructure. When planning the business project in Suchedniów, ARP S.A. performed a general segmentation of the macroeconomic environment. It identified the strengths and weaknesses of the investment, internal and external opportunities, as well as threats to the successful implementation of this project.

"The factory to be built here will be a modern one. It will meet environmental requirements and national demand for building materials. With the new factory, the building materials produced in Suchedniów will fill an important gap in the market and allow us to develop our domestic industry and production capacity in an innovative way. The construction of the Suchedniów plant means not only high-quality, long-term jobs for residents, but also numerous additional benefits for the local government - including tax revenues and opportunities to attract further investment," says Cezariusz Lesisz, President of the Industrial Development Agency JSC.

The first phase of the investment will see the commissioning of modern technological lines enabling the production of elements such as multi-layer walls, solid walls, double-layer walls, balcony slabs, foundations, hollow floor slabs, columns, beams, roof beams and prefabricated stair flights. The assumed production capacity of the line for wall and ceiling plate elements is approximately 200,000 m² per year. The targeted capacity of the other lines will depend on the specifics and volume of orders.

"Today, prefabrication is the answer to many challenges faced by investors and the construction industry. Its undeniable advantage is faster project completion compared to traditional construction, which is subject to seasonal fluctuations. The assembly of prefabricated elements can be carried out regardless of weather conditions. The precision and quality of the prefabricated elements is also higher, as they are assembled only on the construction site under strictly controlled conditions," emphasises Patrycja Bębas, President of ARP Construction ltd.

"The investment is being built with the participation of the Industrial Development Agency and ARP Construction and Operator ARP. By fulfilling our current tasks - including the development of the factory programme, which we are already concretizing in three locations - we are proving our capabilities. We are convinced that the task ahead of us in Suchedniów will also be successful. For many years, the area of the former "Marywil" site was described in the local media as an "abandoned zone". Today we are closing this chapter and launching a modern project," explains Mariusz Domeradzki, President of the operator ARP ltd.

The project envisages the construction of a production building with an area of 7,000 sqm on ul. Sportowa, office, social and technical premises, and a storage yard with an area of almost 4,000 sqm.
